BBN SMS Referral for Webmasters

BBN will be introducing a new referral system for webmasters. (Please note that this post is open to public opinion. Read and comment)

Our Plan

In our original plan webmasters will sign up for an affiliate account with BBN SMS. Upon completion of the registration, we will provide snippets for banners of different dimensions. The snippet will be copied from the Affiliates BBN account and pasted in the slot where they want our banners to display on their website. The snippet will also be used to uniquely identify a webmaster's account for administration and payment.

Mode of Payment

Like in the 'Invite a Friend' originally packaged with BBN SMS, The Webmaster's account will be credited with FIVE SMS each time a new user follows the sign-up link on the site to register and TEN SMS Credit each time a referred user purchases any of our SMS BUNDLES. But uniquely besides the webmaster's ability to send SMS from the account, the webmaster may prefer to receive payment in CHEQUE. In this case, BBN plans to issue and mail cheques for the equivalent of the SMS they have in their account.

The amount payable to the webmaster in this option will be the equivalent multiple of accumulated referral bonus and the operating unit charge for Basic Bundle. Eg. If a webmaster has a Cumulated Referral Bonus of 10,530cr when a unit cost of the basic bundle is NGN5.00 the webmaster will be paid NGN (10,530 x 5). I.e. NGN 52,650.00

BBN partnering with FLEXMORE Technologies & Interswitch for WebPay System

Perhaps in three weeks from now BBN SMS subscribers will be able to pay for SMS service from their desk using ATM cards from the respective financial institutions that are partnering with Interswitch as we are presently working modalities to integrate the Interswitch WebPay into BBN SMS.

We are sure this new development will be like the sounding of a new tune for subscribers who have severally launched complains concerning the inconvenience of waiting in Bank Bulk Room queues to make payment for SMS service.
