Teshoma, strolled down Idowu Taylor street towards her office located on the island. Getting to work had been a little hectic today, this morning. “Teshoma have you sent out the messages to our Dubai customers coming in next week?
“Yes sir, eh no sir”. She tumbled out her words a bit disorientated. “Which is it?” he asked obviously upset at her careless answer which was not in her nature normally, “Sir, I started yesterday, but I was not through before I left the office, sorry sir!”
“Why, what was the problem he asked impatiently”
She mumbled a bunch of unintelligible string of words, ending it with bad reception and network
“Haven’t you heard of the word, 'text message' before?”
“Yes sir“ she mumbled
“So why didn’t you send text messages” he asked irritably
“But sir isn’t that a bit too expensive, I didn’t want to run up cost”.
“Teshoma you should have asked, haven’t you ever heard of BBN bulksms text message”
